Anyone heard of the largest restaurant chain in America? 👇

You probably aren’t eating at it, but our kids are.

Over 30 million kids/day to be exact! 🧒📈

Yet, most school districts are forced to operate with tight budgets and outdated infrastructure.

We truly believe the key to long-term health for our country is addressing what kids are eating on the lunch tray.

Every kid, in every zip code, deserves access to meals that properly nourish their body and mind.

Investment in school nutrition programs is an investment in our kids' futures.

A few times a year, we get to invite fellow food nerds on a tour of an actual Eat Real partner district, to give them a closer look at what’s possible in school food.

This is Montague Area Public Schools in Michigan.

Students grow vegetables in the school's garden and raise the chickens that end up on the lunch tray! They take field trips to local farms to gain an appreciation of where their food comes from!

The foodservice director at Montague, Dan Gorman, doesn't just feed students — he educates them, connects them, and invests in their relationship with food for life. 🍎

Eat Real is so excited to be working in the beautiful state of Michigan.

The state of Wisconsin already has deep roots in farm to school practices.

We are so excited to build on this work!
