The Career Academy

Last week, we celebrated our amazing retirees and our dedicated 10-year award recipients at TCA! It’s been a wonderful journey filled with countless memories and achievements.

A huge shoutout to our retirees (Mrs. Bergo, Mr. Dunkle, Mr. Schaub, Mrs. Aylward, and Mr. Duden) who have made such a lasting impact on our community. Your hard work and commitment will always be remembered.

We also want to recognize our 10-year award recipients (Ms. Howell, Ms. Hagemann, and Dr. Flores) for their continuous dedication and incredible contributions. Here’s to many more years of success and inspiration!

Thank you to ABC Seamless for working with the TCA Construction students this week on the proper way to install siding!

This summer, students from The Career Academy will showcase how they plan to teach with purpose and lead with passion in their future classrooms! Thirteen members of TCA’s Educators Rising chapter will demonstrate their expertise alongside hundreds of students at the Educators Rising National Conference. Their competitive events have equipped them with many skills that they will use when they enter the education profession.

Join us for this year's Senior Capstone Showcase on Thursday, May 7th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM! This event will showcase projects from students enrolled in Senior English Seminar here at TCA. We welcome all from the TCA and the Lincoln community to attend in celebration of our students learning from this semester. We hope to see you there!

REMINDER: There will be no classes Friday, April 3, or Monday, April 6. All LPS buildings are closed Friday, April 3. Monday, April 6, is a professional learning/planning day.

Meet TCA Senior Eric

He customized his high school experience by getting college and career ready at The Career Academy.

Through TCA’s Criminal Justice Pathway, Eric jump-started his future in law enforcement and hopes to eventually work for an agency like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

We are so proud of TCA Ag students Mila Waite, Sutton Classen, Lena Barnes and Lucy Whacker for presenting to SCC faculty and students on the Canine Good Citizen test and small veterinary handling! Their presentation was part of the Ignite the Future: Women in the Trades demos.
