TCA juniors in Take Charge participated in Post Secondary Speaker Day, exploring pathways across 4-year public and private universities, community colleges, and military options. Our students are already earning college credit while in high school, putting them on a great path toward what’s next! 🎓

We’ve spent the week listening to students, reenergizing our team, strengthening community connections, and preparing to elevate engagement in every classroom. We’re ready, we’re excited, and we can’t wait to get this year started!

Our admin team has been busy attending leadership meetings this week, gearing up to welcome back our amazing staff and students in just a few weeks. Students at The Career Academy enjoyed a full docket of learning lessons during a mock trial activity! Courts and the Judicial System class members took part in a mock trial that featured skilled attorneys, witnesses under oath and meticulous jury deliberations, giving them a hands-on view of how the American court systems operate. Students said the activity gave them a good preview of their bright futures in criminal justice professions!

Last week, we celebrated our amazing retirees and our dedicated 10-year award recipients at TCA! It’s been a wonderful journey filled with countless memories and achievements.

A huge shoutout to our retirees (Mrs. Bergo, Mr. Dunkle, Mr. Schaub, Mrs. Aylward, and Mr. Duden) who have made such a lasting impact on our community. Your hard work and commitment will always be remembered.

We also want to recognize our 10-year award recipients (Ms. Howell, Ms. Hagemann, and Dr. Flores) for their continuous dedication and incredible contributions. Here’s to many more years of success and inspiration!
