Our 6th grade students were recognized today for their incredible behavior.

Breckin and Ronnie received the Positive Current award for their positive classroom behavior and impact on others.

Ian and Olivia received the WATT an Achievement award for showing great academic achievement in the classroom.

Owen and Lenyn received the ACEs AMP which acknowledges magnificent people.

It's Taco Tuesday in the Lux FCS room! Students spent their day making quesadillas and tacos. Students worked on safety and sanitation skills, along with time management, cooperation, and team building! Give these Lux 7th and 8th graders a round of applause!

What’s better than reading? How about reading to earn a pizza party! This year, explore all of the flavors that reading can offer with a reading challenge. Students log your reading in Beanstack throughout the year to earn your spot at an end of year pizza party sponsered by the Lux Boosters. Any Lux Student who reads 10,000 minutes between Sept. 1 and April 30 will earn a Pizza Party in May. Does 10,000 minutes sound like a lot? Then break it down- 10,000 minutes is less than 45 mins a day. Now that you can do! Don't know how to use Beanstack- come see us in the library and we will get you set up!
