10th year for The Secret Life of Metals: excellent hands-on camp for middle schoolers at Creighton University! Thank you to Dr. Eric Villa & TAs for engaging young people with inorganic chemistry. Great group, and we're proud that our National Science Foundation (NSF) funding supports : learning, making friends, and exploring careers!

Such a great group of YNS campers at Nebraska Wesleyan University for Explorations in Biology with Dr. McKinney & team! (We had to stop by for the reptile handling 😬) The campers enjoyed cool lab activities each day, plus fun hangouts after dinner (bowling, mini-golf), and made presentations to their families on the last day ... many careers ahead for these high schoolers!

👏 to UNL College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources for coordinating a regionally-developed agricultural sciences camp for middle schoolers in northeast Nebraska! (YNS helped with administrative support and funding via Nebraska EPSCoR.)

Robots, drones & middle schoolers! The future of gathered at Northeast Community College: exploring technology's role in sustainable systems. Hands-on sessions also shared ways to assess soil & water quality. Ice cream, too!
