A few of our early childhood students had so much fun playing Let’s Make a Deal during this morning’s chapel with Principal Kumm. As the contestants chose between bags containing mystery prizes, there were plenty of laughs and recommendations from our student audience. The lesson of the chapel service was that Jesus is always the best prize. At the end of every deal and in every situation, Jesus is the best choice!

Each 2nd grade student received his or her very own Bible during today's Chapel! We pray God bless these precious children as they study and grow in His Word! This Chapel was particularly bittersweet as it was our last with Pastor Wing before his move to Missouri.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 ❤✝

It started like an ordinary day in the life of a Nebraska pioneer as the Trinity Lutheran School 4th graders took a field trip to the Cunningham One-Room Schoolhouse at Pioneers Park last Wednesday. The students arrived with their lunch baskets dressed as pioneers from the 1800s. But as they read from McGuffey Readers and practiced their penmanship, dark clouds gathered overhead. A storm was brewing and no one wanted to venture outside to the outhouse! As the downpour began, the students returned to TLS soaking wet, but with plenty of pioneer spirit!

Our 5th graders had a blast spending time with their kindergarten buddies! Weekly buddy time is filled with giggles, games, and meaningful connections, making it a highlight for both older and younger students. These special moments help build leadership skills in our 5th graders while strengthening social skills, friendship, and a strong sense of school community.
