So excited that our team and the UESS Communications staff had the opportunity to celebrate and be part of the AMA Lincoln Prism Awards last Thursday! It was a wonderful evening recognizing the creativity, hard work, and career success happening throughout our marketing community. 💎
We were especially proud to see “Cornelius”, UNL's student success chatbot, receive the AMA Prism Award for Product Launch, as well as a Sterling Award for In-Person Event. This project was a collaborative effort across UESS, with Lydia Coulson leading the development, creation, and strategy, and our graphic design intern, Sammy Konecky, bringing the chatbot character to life as a friendly corn cob in a cowboy hat.
Rosella Zaske, our social media and communications intern, also showcased her brilliance by receiving the Jessica Kennedy-Matthews Emerging Marketer Scholarship!
A huge shoutout to Lydia, Sammy, and Rosella for their incredible work, and many thanks to American Marketing Association Lincoln Chapter for hosting such a great event. We love seeing fellow marketing minds continue to make an impact across the greater Lincoln community and celebrate the talented creatives helping shape it. 💙

“I've learned a lot more about the job application and interview processes, especially by speaking to a variety of company recruiters in this role. I also learned that your attitude and intentionality play such a huge role in standing out as an applicant. Finding new ways to be creative in your work rarely goes unnoticed, and I encourage others to do the same.”
Sammy Konecky is a graduating senior with a major in graphic design and minors in advertising and public relations, and art history and criticism. This week, she graduates with a bachelor's degree and concludes her internship at University Career Services. Sammy has been part of the team for a year and a half as the graphic design intern, and her designs have shaped how students connect with career resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. ❤️
