Paint, laughs and a little Valentine creativity 🎨

On Feb. 11, Hastings Aspiring Educators met at the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center for a Sip and Paint night full of color and connection. Guided by Mrs. Hermann — adjunct professor at Hastings College and K-12 art teacher at Giltner Public Schools — students designed their own Valentine-inspired pieces while enjoying time together in a real studio space.

UNL’s chapter was out in full force at the activity fair on Wednesday and WOW — the interest in NSEA-Aspiring Educators was amazing! 💫 Future educators, we see you and we’re so excited to grow this community with you! 🍎📚

Big energy at the NSEA Aspiring Educators Welcome Weekend! From vision-setting to content-creating, we kicked off the year with purpose and passion. Huge thanks to all the AE members and campus advisors who showed up ready to lead, learn and level up. Let’s make student voices louder, our impact stronger!

We had an AMAZING weekend in Lincoln at NSEA Headquarters!! We held our annual Delegate Assembly/Spring Conference and elected officers for next year’s executive team. We were blessed with fantastic speakers who shared so much great information with us! We all left on Saturday with our buckets 🪣 filled and had the opportunity to meet and network with new people from across the state!

We also held a career fair as part of our conference and students had the opportunity to visit with representatives from different school districts and learn about what they have to offer!

We hope that next year, you will be joining us for these great events! The benefits of your membership in AE are more than you can imagine!!

We are only a month away from another amazing opportunity for our AE members!!! Register Now for our Spring Conference in Lincoln at the NSEA builiding!! Friday night will be our Delegate Assembly for those who are delegates and Saturday is open to everyone! We will have engaging professional development sessions in the morning and a career fair in the afternoon for you to get to know a little more about some of school districts and potentially find a job!!
