Guitar students this week are learning “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac with a great Travis picking style, Maroon 5’s “Memories”, and “The Bar Song” by Shaboozey.
One more example that music instruction can lead to great opportunities. My son’s drumline band is opening for the Lauren Daigle Christmas concert tonight in LA. Tickets sale for 250.00 a seat.
Congratulations, Ian.
Christmas shopping…it’s about to get crazy.
Do you have that person in your family that always says they need nothing or can’t come up with any ideas? Maybe it’s your parent or grandparent? Maybe it’s your spouse? Maybe it’s YOU?
What if you could buy them a month of music lessons? All references point to the fact that learning music is THE best way to keep your cognitive and motor skills in tact. Plus, the social benefits in interacting with another person once a week for mutual appreciation of music is healing and restorative. There really is no way you can lose on this journey.
I offer senior rates to those 60 and over. I will counsel you on the right instrument and the lowest price for you to get the job done. I take each student where they are and go at the pace they can progress at. I’m about the easiest teacher a person can learn from and my passion is to spread my knowledge and love of music to those who really need, want and can benefit from it.
Buy the experience. It’s a gift that will keep giving long after that candle from Bath and Body Works is all burnt away. Call or text 402-730-6684.
A study at Harvard has shown that music can act as a natural pain reliever.
I’ve witnessed this many times at my Studio.

Avery always shares with me how her music lessons help her with her instrument in band but also in her dance classes. More proof how a weekly music lesson can benefit you in ways you never would think of.

I have the best bunch of students . Teaching them how to learn the language of music is the highlight of my day.
You know you’re doing something right when you have a piano student adamantly exclaim that he wants to take piano lessons during Christmas break.
When you teach a student what they WANT to learn, they will flourish, as did Chase tonight when he aced a Post Malone song the first time through on his guitar.
Pike shared with me tonight that he always knows the answers in his music class at school which warms my heart. I love it when my students can share their theory knowledge elsewhere.
I still have some time available. If you or your student isn’t learning what they want to learn or what excites them—maybe it’s time to change teachers.
Such a fun night with Ani on our ukes. We kept up with Jason Mratz on “I’m Yours”, and with Train on “Hey Soul Sister”. Ani is a natural on uke all due to her years of piano with me and her knowledge of counting and rhythm. Great job, Ani!
‘Ya know all those wonderful cognitive and motor skill benefits we gain from music? The fact is you actually have to pick up the instrument or sit down in front of it and practice to reap those benefits.
I have prime times open on Monday evenings for new students. Call or text 402-730-6684.
