🌟 Staff Recognition Breakfast 2026
Yesterday, we had the joy of gathering together to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who make Lincoln Christian School such a special place of learning, growth, and faith. Their dedication to our students, families, and mission is a gift to our entire community.
Despite the rain and rolling thunder outside, the morning was filled with meaningful stories, worship, laughter, awards, fun moments, and lots of smiles — a wonderful way to close out the school year and head into summer together. In one especially memorable moment, a loud clap of thunder rang out just as prayer was being shared about the power of God — a reminder that even in the storm, He is present and moving.
A special thank you to the Stark family for generously allowing us to host this year’s event in their beautiful barn. It was the perfect setting for a memorable morning of celebration and encouragement.
Thank you to our staff for another incredible year of providing life-changing Christian education and faithfully investing in the lives of students every day. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so grateful for each of you!
💙 Help us celebrate and encourage our amazing LCS staff as they head into summer!

As the final bell rang on another incredible school year, our students headed into summer with smiles, laughter, and a sweet treat from the Kona Ice truck! 🍧☀️
Even though the chilly weather didn’t quite feel like summer yet, the excitement on campus said otherwise. We wrapped up the year gathered together in prayer at the amphitheater — reflecting on God’s faithfulness and celebrating all He has done this year.
We are grateful for every student, teacher, and family who made this year so special.
Here’s to a safe, restful, and joy-filled summer! 💙

Please join us in congratulating these 7th & 8th grade students who were nominated for recognition through Lincoln organizations!
🌟 Lincoln Sunrise Optimist Club “Student of the Week” Awards
Emory Miller, 7th Grade
Kind. Gentle. Respectful. Helpful. Each of these character qualities were echoed by Emory’s teachers when asked to describe her. Along with them, another attribute rose to the top: diligent. Emory works hard — and the work she does works well, as evidenced by her strong results in multiple arenas.
Knox Whitney, 7th Grade
Knox was noticed by his teachers for being helpful, intentional, and prepared. With these three attributes, the next one comes as a natural overflow: Knox is a leader and a positive role model at Lincoln Christian.
🏅 Elks Club “Teen of the Year” Awards
Kinley Buhr, 8th Grade
Kinley is reported by her teachers as being kind, smart, very hard working, responsible, and respectful. She carries herself with maturity, chooses friends wisely, and sets a quiet but strong example.
Levi Grosse, 8th Grade
Along with having a really great sense of humor, Levi is recognized by his teachers and peers as being honest, hard working, respectful, and kind. One teacher summarized him well by describing Levi as “The Whole Package”!
Congratulations to each of these students on this well-deserved recognition! 💙

Yesterday we celebrated our 6th Grade Recognition as we honored this incredible group of students and all they’ve accomplished this year! From music performances by band, strings, and class songs to student tributes, prayers, and awards, the event was a special reflection of growth, talent, and community.
Throughout their time in elementary, these students have continued to grow in Truth, build meaningful Relationships, pursue Excellence, and experience Transformation through Christ-centered learning and community. We are so thankful for the impact they’ve already made and are excited to see how God continues to work in their lives as they take the next step into junior high.
Congratulations to our 6th graders — we are cheering you on every step of the way! 💙

Last night, our kindergarten students took the stage to celebrate a year of growth, learning, and God’s faithfulness. From songs of worship to verses proclaiming Truth, each part of the evening pointed back to the foundation being built in these young hearts. 🎓💙
We are especially grateful for Mrs. Wobig and her many years of faithful investment in Lincoln Christian School kindergarten students. Her love for children, steady encouragement, and commitment to Christ-centered education have impacted countless families and helped shape generations of Crusaders. Thank you, Mrs. Wobig, for the legacy you leave behind. 💐
Congratulations to the Kindergarten Class of 2026! We can’t wait to see how God continues His work of Transformation in your lives.

What a beautiful evening celebrating the gifts and talents of our high school musicians at the Spring Concert!
Students from band, jazz band, choir, orchestra, and flags shared an incredible night of music and performance. We also recognized our senior musicians and honored the outstanding work of our music staff.
This concert was especially meaningful as it marked the final high school concert for longtime Band Director, Mrs. Emiley Bond, after 18 years of faithful service. We were grateful to see so many alumni return to support and celebrate Mrs. Bond and the lasting impact she has made on generations of students.
Thank you to our students, directors, families, and alumni for making this such a special evening!

The future is in good hands. Yesterday, our Junior class officially stepped into their role as the Class of 2027 at the Junior Takeover. They stood at the entrances of our high school and elementary, greeting their peers, and leading with intention. Their Junior Takeover culminated in a chapel where they unveiled next year’s theme, “Unshaken”, rooted in 1 Corinthians 15:58. We cannot wait to see how God moves through this group!
