Summer Spanish Camp Week 1 Day 1 is in the books. We are off to a great start. Everyone did a great job participating and following directions. I was very impressed.

Our theme this week is STEM and so our word of the day was "la ciencia" or "science". The letter of the day was "O" which conveniently is pronounced almost exactly the same in Spanish. We made trees out of items found in our backyard, we made ooblek, bird houses and marshmallow structures. We played "luz rojo/luz verde" or "red light/green light" and read aloud "Secretos de la Selva Tropical", "Secrets of the Tropical Rainforest".

Everyone is excited to see what is in store for Day 2!

Note: We still have 2 spots open in Week 3 (7/17) and 3 spots in Week 4 (7/24). We can accommodate full time (9a-4p) or part time enrollment (9a-12p or 1p-4p).

This summer, campers ages 5-12 years old will engage in a variety of exploratory activities which will introduce them to Spanish language fluency and inspire a lifetime of learning and appreciation for diversity. Campers will be equipped with a foundation for bilingualism and will be immersed in our adventurous learning environment. Children will be able to explore our ample outdoor space while simultaneously discovering a love for learning language.

Each week will have a different content focus theme, listed below.

Camps are from 9:00am-4:00pm each day. We are located at Iglesia de Dios at 8000 A Street, Lincoln.

Week 1: June 26th - 30th - STEM

Week 2: July 10th-14th - Art and Music

Week 3: July 17th - 21st - Culture and Geography

Week 4: July 24th - 28th - Sports

Cost per week is $255 plus a one time $40 enrollment fee. Before care from 7:30am-9:00am can be added for $55/week and after care from 4:00pm-6:00pm can be added for $72/week.
