The mission of the Bullying Research Network (BRNET) is to support research on evidence-based research informing effective interventions.

The Bullying Research Network (BRNET) is an organization dedicated to uniting researchers in bullying prevention and intervention and then disseminating that information to the public. BRNET was founded by Drs. Susan Swearer, UNL, and Shelly Hymel, UBC. The Network boasts over80 members, all renowned researchers or educators in bullying and peer victimization.

How Italian Middle School Adolescents Conceptualize and Navigate Cyberbullying: A Qualitative Analysis of Definitions, Behaviors, Roles, and Coping Strategies 06/03/2026

This study conducted sixteen focus groups with 220 Italian middle school students (ages 11-13) to understand adolescents' views on cyberbullying. Transcripts were inductively analyzed to identify domains, core ideas, and the occurrence of categories (general, typical, variant) using the Consensual Qualitative Research method.
