Spiritual Dissonance

Are you living in alignment with your spiritual formation? Often we segregate our spiritual selves from the rest of our life. We use the term spiritual life to refer to something that is separate from life in general. When life itself is fundamentally spiritual. When we live out of balance we can become depressed, anxious, and angry as spirit tries to tug us back into proper alignment. First, it helps to know what proper alignment looks like for you. Second, once you know what you want it becomes possible to create practices to get the outcomes you desire. A Coach can help guide you through this process and empower you to get in better alignment with your spiritual formation.

To live this powerful quote is to be empowered to control ones destiny by knowing ones beliefs. It is important to be clear about what we believe because our beliefs underlay all of our actions. When we examine our beliefs, when they are brought out of the subconscious into our conscious awareness we can then mold and shape them to be in line with our vision for our best self. At the same time, when we are clear about our beliefs we are able to mindfully align our actions with those beliefs. A key component of the coaching relationship is discussing and discovering the clients beliefs.

The Harvest
If you have a green thumb you have been looking over your garden the last few weeks and curiously looking at the emerging garden displays popping up in the parking lots of our grocery stores and markets. You may even be envisioning how you want your garden to look this summer and what plants you want to harvest this fall.
Much like our gardens our life has its seasons and cycles. We also reap what we sow. So we must also ask ourselves what do we want to be this summer/winter/fall/next year and what to we want to harvest. When we become aware of what we want we can then decide what seeds to plant and what we want to nurture or w**d out. A coach can help with this process, as you become a master gardener of your transformative journey.

Beginning in late June we will be moving to 6208 Havelock. We look forward to serving the community from Historic Havelock Avenue. The Big Questions: What is most important to me?

Seems like an easy question on the surface doesn’t it. But what really is most important to us should be reflected in way we live our lives. However we all know that isn’t the case. Often we spend most of our time unaware of what is REALLY important to us and instead are bogged down by the demands of life. In between work, obligations, and our screens (tv, phone) we don’t get enough time to reflect on what is important and what it would mean to live in alignment with those values.
On the other side of that, another phenomenon that happens for many of us is that we get confused about what is really important to our truest selves and live out false ideals that never satisfy. The dissonance between our truest values and those we live out can cause us great pain and leave us confused. Getting clear about what is most important to you and what you want to prioritize is an important step in both the personal and spiritual journey. Having someone to talk to can help. Coaches around the world help clients everyday get clear about what is important to them and how they can embody that in their daily lives.

What is Spiritual Coaching?
Spiritual Coaching
Is similar to Life Coaching with an emphasis on spiritual development. The coach helps the client uncover their calling towards spiritual fulfillment and the obstacles that stand in their way. The Client determines their goals based on their faith tradition and calling. Spiritual and Life Coaching can take place during the same session with the same coach. For many of us our spiritual life is deeply embedded in our daily life.
