Mission Statement
At Lincoln Children’s Academy, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. Our childcare experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. As educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment, which fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, di
scover, create, and become a lifelong learner. Our Philosophy
Our program is built around the concept that children are born ready and eager to learn. We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences. As educators, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, stimulating and encouraging. Our goal is to provide, under the guidance of trained personnel, the opportunity to develop:
• Socially, through encouragement of cooperative play with other children.
• Intellectually, through activities that stimulate thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
• Emotionally, through recognition of a child’s own feelings, as well as the feelings of others.
• Physically, through healthy eating habits and both large and fine motor activities. General Principles
