As many of you already know, we had to close FAA’s doors at the end of the 2022/2023 school year. We had such an amazing time serving the Lincoln community & coaching kids to be good Student Athlets. In doing our extensive research/preparation opening FAA, we never thought a global pandemic & now remote work for parents, would be the reason we couldn’t survive.

We have so much gratitude to all of our current families and athletes. Some we have known for years, and others this was your first year with us. Thank you for choosing us to care for, trust in, and work with your athletes daily, especially THIS year, with so much uncertainty surrounding it. Thank you for being patient and understanding with schedule changes as we navigated through rule/policy/mandates/LPS schedule changes each month, week, day, jeez...even hourly at some points.

We truly believe your athletes have had such an advantage in getting back to some normalcy and it has been such a positive place by being active and social no matter the weather, remote learning, or mandates where no other activities were allowed. They have all been through so much and have thrived, built confidence, and I know have had a lot of FUN! Even before a pandemic these have been FUNdamental Athletics Academy's core values and goals to be able to bring to your athletes on a daily basis in our care.

We also want to thank our staff who have showed up, worked hard, spent countless extra hours cleaning, and have done everything we/DHHS has asked of them to be able to continue to stay open and care for your athletes. A lot goes behind the scenes, and they have done amazing!

We had a small but mighty group this year. We hope as our community slowly opens back up we can serve more families in our community once again.

Fundamental Athletics Academy

This time has been bittersweet as we would have been celebrating the end of our 5th SCHOOL YEAR in business being able to care for your athletes. I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you who gambled on a new concept for before and after school care and trusting us back when we didn't even have a building to show you! We opened with 26 athletes and ended our first school year with 60. We ended this ‘school year’ at 85. We have truly grown and have been so lucky and grateful to be able to work with such amazing families through the years! Your referrals and confidence in us has been humbling.
Thank you to all of our staff and coaches who have been with us to make this program what it is today!

We hope to keep caring for your athletes and have the support the great families in our community.
We will be open for summer programming starting May 26th!

We know many of our athletes families have questions about how cancelations work and the future of FAA, and to be honest, we do as well. We are taking this week to do some needed maintenance on the facility and disinfect the entire building including the busses. We will be open next week for athletes that need full time care (additional fees may apply) or for athletes that need afternoons only (no additional charge from our standard pricing). There will be strict measures put in place to ensure a sterile environment including hand washing, continued cleaning throughout the day, and parent drop off and pickup at the door. In addition, Chrome books will be allowed in the morning sessions.

We hope everyone stays safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing all of our athletes very soon.
