Giving Tuesday is a remarkable opportunity to support the causes you care about. The Nebraska Academy of Sciences has been rebuilding our Field Trip Program. The earliest Field Trips offered by the Academy took place as early as 1910. Last year, students, retirees, K-12 Science teachers, and faculty attended our two offered field trips, to Kearney to view the Crane Migration Phenomenon, and to Western Nebraska for a Geology Themed Field trip. This year, any donations received on Giving Tuesday will be used to support these field trips, sharing the beauty and wonder of Nebraska science with Nebraska Scientists. As you take this time to reflect on the change you want to make in the world, please consider making a real difference in the lives of young scientists and science teachers in the state by supporting the Nebraska Academy of Sciences.
