We ask that you join us in prayer for our dear Mrs. Sharon Vandertholen (aka Mrs. Van). She passed away this past Sunday, January 10, 2021. A small viewing was held today for her family, with no further funeral arrangements. Mrs. Van worked at St. Mary's for twenty years as a teacher's aide/lunchroom attendant/recess monitor. She held a wonderful and unique friendship with our students. She will not be forgotten.

Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

‘Bless me, Father - but from 6 feet away!’ Coronavirus and confession Demand for confessions at St. Mary’s in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, has always been high: it’s a centrally-located church with convenient, daily confession times and often multiple confessors.

As of today, March 17, 2020, there will be no public Masses held at St. Mary's Church until further notice.

We will however, offer confessions at Fr. Dietrich's Westside rectory window at our regularly scheduled times.

Monday- Friday: 11:30 - 12:00 Noon
Saturday: 11 am - 12:00 noon, 3:00 - 4:00 pm, 8:00 - 9:00 pm

If you have any questions, please call the rectory at 402-435-2125. We will post updates as we get further information.

Please join us Monday at Cathedral as we lay to rest, our beloved former teacher, Mrs.Joan Smyth. Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

Saint Mary's school enjoyed their time at UrbanAir after their last day of school. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Williams for our trip and all the food you provided.
Also thank you for the privilage of singing the National Athem and leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Purple Heart Recipient Honor Flight banquet!

Last class pictures at Saint Mary's! As we say goodbye to our school, our friends, our teachers and our staff, let us remember all the good times we had at Saint Mary's!! We will miss the school and everyone we met here. Rise up on eagle wings and soar Crusaders!!!

First grade students had their last reading with seniors at Aging Partners. Students wrote notes of thanks for the reading partners. The reading partners gave Students’ balloons, pinwheels and cookies. Denise, Senior Center Reading Director, cut the strings on the helium balloons so students and all could see them high in the glass atrium!
