We are trying something new this year with our PTC VIP parking spot! Get our up front spot to use for drop off and pickups, volunteering and school events, and anything on campus. Starting August 24th at 3PM the link to sign up for our monthly spot will go LIVE. Each month will have one spot available so be ready to purchase at 3PM on 8/24! The cost per month is $45, and each family will be able to sign up for one month. First come first serve!

If you purchased a "Stuff a Mascot" for the school year, today is the day to pick it up.
Even if you didn't purchase a stuffie, we'd still love to see you at our first ever LCES Back to School Park Party! If you have an incoming TK or Kinder student and would like to connect with other students from your class, check out the times listed below.

Please submit your order 48 hours before so we have time to process it. If your order is not submitted before the deadline, your slide may appear the following week. School is a little easier when you recognize a familiar face.

We're excited to invite all LCES families to our LCES Back to School Park Party on Saturday, August 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Peter Singer Park!

This event is especially designed to help our incoming TK and Kindergarten families connect before the first day of school, but everyone is welcome!

Class lists will be posted on Friday, August 14 (@ 4 PM, outside the Multi-Purpose Room), so we've created optional class meet-up times to help families find one another as everyone will already know who their teacher is.

If your child is assigned to Mrs. Rivera's class, for example, stopping by around 10:00 a.m. gives you a better chance of meeting some of the other Rivera families before school begins.

Please note: These are simply suggested meet-up times. You are welcome to come anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Teachers will not be attending the event.

Suggested Meet-Up Times

9:00 a.m. – Mrs. Eck (TK)
9:30 a.m. – Mrs. Garcia (TK)
10:00 a.m. – Mrs. Rivera (TK)
10:30 a.m. – Mrs. Fleshman (Kinder)
11:00 a.m. – Ms. Giannini (Kinder)
11:30 a.m. – Mrs. Swanson (Kinder)

Stuff-A-Mascot Experience

We're also bringing a special back-to-school experience to the park!

Pre-order your very own LCES C**t mascot, then stuff it at the event with help from our friends at Pixie Plush Co. Each mascot comes dressed in a blue COLTS shirt, and every child will get to personalize their experience by creating a necklace for their mascot and decorating a take-home drawstring bag.

It's a fun activity, a sweet keepsake, and a cuddly friend to help celebrate the start of a brand-new school year. These mascots are also perfect for those classroom stuffed animal days that pop up throughout the year (when teachers choose to have them).

Stuff-A-Mascot is available to students in every grade, not just TK and Kindergarten. If your child would love one, we'd love to see them create it!
