Journalism staff from Lincoln Southeast and Lincoln Southwest created award-winning news content this spring at a state communications showcase! The Knights and Silver Hawks displayed their journalism talents at the Nebraska Press Women High School Communications Contest. Southeast claimed the team championship with 19 awards, and Southwest collected three honors at the 21-school event!

Knight House is wrapping up for the year. Our last day will be Monday, May 18th - we do not meet after school during final exam days. Thank you to all of our regulars and those who popped in occasionally to hang out and decompress after a long school day.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
Did you know how diverse the Asian American and Pacific Islander community is? From East Asia to the Pacific Islands, South Asia to Southeast Asia, there are more than 50 distinct ethnicities, dozens of languages, and centuries of rich cultural traditions that make up the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
