‼ CLASS OF 2027 SENIORS AND PARENTS ‼

This year's FAFSA Information Night for seniors and their families will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 6:00-6:30 PM in the LCHS Auditorium. The presentation will cover all the basics of FAFSA. All seniors and their families are welcome to attend.

At 6:30 PM, staff will be on hand to assist families with FAFSA completion. Completion sessions will last approximately 20 minutes. An RSVP is required for completion assistance sessions only. Please call 217-732-4131 ext. 1277 to set up your appointment.

Reminder: Completion of the FAFSA or the FAFSA Waiver is a required component for graduation.

A huge congratulations to all of our new National Honor Society members who were inducted Wednesday night!

We are proud of these students and their accomplishments, and congratulations to their families as well!

The National Honor Society is built on four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. We know our NHS students will continue to represent LCHS well in each of these areas. ❤️💚

The world is ending in 8 minutes…and we hope you’ll spend it with us!

Performances for the LCHS Fall Play “8 Minutes Left” will take place on Thursday, October 8th at 7:00 pm, Sunday, October 11th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Monday, October 12th at 2:00 pm.

Tickets will be $10 or $10.50 for card purchases. We can’t wait to see you there!

❤️💚 Here at Lincoln Community High School, we value our partnerships with Lincoln Memorial Hospital and the LMH Community Health Collaborative. These organizations work closely with LCHS to support student programming and initiatives like Railer Reach Out.

One of the best ways to understand the health needs of our community is by hearing directly from the people who live here. The Community Health Survey takes just a few minutes to complete and helps guide future programs, initiatives, and priorities throughout our community.

The survey is open through October 31. We encourage our Railer families and community members to take a few minutes to share their feedback.

🚀 It's a beautiful day to launch some rockets! ❤️💚

Mr. Stuckey’s Physical Science classes took their learning outside this morning to launch their rockets and put concepts like force, motion, energy, and Newton’s Laws into action. A perfect day for some hands-on science!
