Silas McCormick and Greg Taylor were both on the road preaching today. Silas had the opportunity to share at his home church, Northwest Christian Church in Decatur, while Greg was in the south suburbs at Living Creek Christian Church. Lincoln Christian Institute is excited to partner with Ozark Christian College and First Christian Church of Decatur, Illinois for a half-day conference: "New Testament University." Join us Saturday October 17!  Matt Proctor, President of Ozark Christian College and author of Victorious Forever, will teach three sessions on the book of Revelation. Registration will begin at 8 AM, the first session will begin at 8:30 AM, and we will conclude at 12:30 PM.

Please pray for our friends at Milligan University. 

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.

Lincoln leader LC Sutton serves as Chaplain at the Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, where he has instituted a 12-month leadership academy. The culmination of the year long process is the annual Global Leadership Summit.

“Everything rises and falls on leadership.”

“When a leader gets better, everyone wins.”

This year eleven completed the journey and received their certificates this afternoon from LCI’s Greg Taylor.

Larry Holder recently completed LCI‘s certificate in Bible and theology and serves as an Elder at Antioch Christian Church in Decatur.  He is leading an important seminar on end of life issues on Saturday, September 12 at ACC that everyone is welcome to attend.
