Lyndsay Wheeler, a vibrant and promising young individual, and who always left a mark on those who knew her. Tragically, her life was cut short at the age of 18 on October 26th, 2023. As a member of the class of 24, Lyndsay had already shown immense potential and was beloved by her peers and teachers alike. In the wake of this devastating loss, a GoFundMe campaign was created to support her grieving family during this incredibly difficult time. The campaign aims to alleviate the financial burden that often accompanies such unexpected tragedies, allowing the Wheeler family to focus on healing and cherishing the memories of their beloved Lyndsay. While her time with us was regrettably brief, her spirit and warmth will forever be remembered. The Class of 24’ sends love and condolences to The Wheeler Family 💜.

Join the MA fall cheering squad at the home football game on Friday, September 8th to support a fundraiser in remembrance of the family of Cierra McCain. We encourage everyone to wear yellow in honor of Cierra. In addition to cheering on our team, there will be fun activities like flips for tips and selling yellow bows. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and show our support for Cierra's family. We hope to see you there!

The Mattanawcook Seniors are hosting a 5k color run on October 1st. During the run, participants will be covered in different colors while they run along a scenic route. This event is open to all ages and is a fun way to give back to the community. It's a great opportunity to get some exercise and have a good time. Come join the fun and get ready for a colorful experience!
