Come spend your days with our busy, curious, hilarious, little two-year-olds! We’re looking for someone patient, dependable, loving, and ready to jump in alongside our classroom teacher.

✏️ Afternoon Aide with our Before & After School Program
Perfect for someone looking for afternoon hours! Help us make afternoons fun for our school-age kiddos while assisting with supervision, activities, homework, and all the after-school adventures.

Experience with children is a plus, but a good attitude, dependability, patience, and a genuine love for kids mean even more to us. 💗

Today marks 10 YEARS of A Step Above🩷

10 years of loving children, building foundations, wiping tears, celebrating milestones, teaching little minds, and pouring into families in our community. What started as a dream has grown into something so much bigger than any of us could have imagined.

While I personally came into A Step Above during year 7, I was handed the torch — and I can honestly say I have run with it with my whole heart. It has been one of the greatest blessings and responsibilities of my life to help continue and grow something so special. Watching this school continue to thrive, evolve, and impact children every single day has been incredibly rewarding.

ASA is more than a daycare or preschool. It is family. It is memories. It is prayers prayed over little lives. It is teachers who love hard, parents who trust us, and children who leave footprints on our hearts forever.

To every teacher, parent, child, and supporter over the last 10 years — thank you. Thank you for believing in us, growing with us, and helping make A Step Above what it is today.

Today’s Easter fun looked a little different at ASA… and it was SO special✝️✨

Instead of a traditional egg hunt, we went on a Resurrection Hunt! The playground was filled with eggs that held different pieces of the resurrection story—like a palm leaf, a whip, a rock, and a crown of thorns. The children were on a mission to find each piece and help us tell the story of Jesus.

But the best part? The empty eggs! Every time one was opened, you could hear sweet little voices shouting, “He is risen!” all across the playground 🤍

There was so much excitement, curiosity, and joy. But through it all, we kept our focus on what Easter is truly about. Watching them learn, play, and celebrate in such a meaningful way was the sweetest thing.

We love creating moments like this for our little ones and we hope they brought the same excitement home with them, to tell you all about their Savior🤍

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support you’ve shown during our “Project Playground!”

Because of YOU, we officially met our goal of 12 rakes AND MORE—and our little learners now have the tools they need to fully jump in, help, and take pride in their playground.

Watching the children work together—digging, raking, and caring for their space—has been such a joy. But what makes it even more meaningful is knowing that each rake was given with love and support from our amazing families.

Your generosity doesn’t just provide materials… it creates opportunities, builds confidence, and shows our children what it means to be part of a caring community. 🌱
