September marks the official start of the annual "I Believe in the Future of Ag" fundraising campaign. This campaign serves as an outlet for local FFA chapters to receive donations for innovative projects in their classrooms, leadership programming, community service projects, and field trips to advance agriculture education in their schools. Donors to the "I Believe" campaign choose which chapter they support, and 100% of each local donation is sent back to the designated chapter in addition to a portion of the sponsored matching funds.

The 2026-27 Launch! Kickoff event took place in the Engler space at UNL East Campus this week! Five FFA Chapters—Sutton FFA, Norris FFA, Bruning Davenport Ag Education and FFA Chapter, Lawrence/Nelson FFA AGVocates, and Pleasanton FFA Chapter - Nebraska—came together to learn the basics of launching a school-based enterprise, explore business models, identify community needs, test business ideas, and form an action plan to begin implementing this year-long venture! The Kurt Kechely Memorial Endowment was established to provide funding for entrepreneurship Supervised Agriculture Experience projects for Norris FFA and Lyons-Decatur Northeast Schools FFA members. Students from these chapters who are interested in grant funding for their SAE projects can apply for the Nebraska FFA Foundation grant through AET now through September 15. The SAE Grant Program provides funding for individual SAE projects for Nebraska FFA members grades 7-11 who have a clearly described financial need. Grant requests may be any amount up to $2,000.
