With the help of some of our kiddos, we have harvested lots of delicious veggies from our garden! They learned that tomatillos are ready to be picked when the skin starts to crack (and that they are very sticky), and that Roma tomatoes are ready to pick when they’re nice a red. These delicious vegetables will be pureed fresh into sauces for our hot lunches!

Yes, we get messy, but there’s so much more to messy than you think. Mud kitchens= chemistry, fine motor skills, creativity, cause and effect. Free painting= creativity, emotional development, gaining knowledge of color mixing. Sensory play= exploration, intrigue, deepening understanding of senses. Giving our students the freedom to explore without being reprimanded for getting messy gives them the reins in their daily learning. There’s so much more that you can’t see from the outside. When our kids get messy, that’s the best way to gain a love for learning 🥰

We are enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year, with immediate spots to join our Summer Camp as well! We accept infants, toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We encourage a fun and active learning environment with lots of play and exploration. If you want your child to join a small community of students and teachers that offers plenty of opportunities for making friends, discovering new things and creating a love for learning, then we are the preschool for you!

We provide healthy snacks and a hot lunch every day, but you can opt for a cold lunch from home for a discount. We also offer military and first responders discounts as well as sibling discounts. Welcome to the GSA family, Tom Smolland (in honor of the best actor to play Spider-Man)! He is a regal jumping spider about the size of a fingernail. They are very curious and social spiders with incredible eyesight. They often do not retreat unless they feel they’re in danger, because they enjoy watching people. They will even recognize faces they see often and will gain trust with those who are kind to it. Having Tom Smolland at the school can help teach our students the benefits of creatures we may find scary, and to understand the importance of all beings on earth 🧡
