Exploring the World of Math in 5th Grade! Our 5th graders stepped into the shoes of computer scientist Antonia J. Jones to discover how prime numbers and cryptography keep our online data safe. Using Caesar Cipher Wheels, they even cracked their own secret codes! πŸ”βœ¨

Are you looking for a fun and easy way to help your student practice spelling words, letter sounds, or even high-frequency words? Forget the paper and pencil! Grab a can of shaving cream instead!

Using a baking sheet, plastic mat, or table, use a dollop of shaving cream and have your child spread it out in a thin layer. Then, give your student the sounds or words you want them to write and have them use their finger to write in the shaving cream!

This is a great way to engage your child in a sensory learning experience, as well as practice their fine motor skills!
