All Addison County schools are closing early today. LCS closing 12:45pm. The Spark after-school program is also cancelled today.

All Addison County schools will be closing early today due to the expected heavy snowfall during the afternoon commute. Please refer to your own school for the exact closing time.

Lincoln buses will pick up students up at LCS at 12:45. Lincoln Community School parents who pick their students up should also be prepared to pick them up at 12:45 after the students return from the whole school field trip to the Flynn Center. We are also closing our Spark after-school program.

If you have any questions, please call or email the school.

Thank you for understanding. This was not an easy decision but one we feel was important for the safety of our students and families.

Happy 100th day of school!

Two hour delay for Addison County Schools for Thursday Dec 4.

This morning all of the schools in Addison County will be having a 2-hour delay due to potentially hazardous road conditions this morning. While we are anticipating only 2-3 inches of snow, we understand that we will see hazardous snow squalls and limited visibility during the morning commute. For those who are driving their students to school, please do not bring them any earlier than 9:35 in order to give our staff time to arrive safely at work. Please also be aware that we are also expecting a sharp drop in temperatures throughout the day and into tomorrow morning. Please dress your child warmly and please take care to ensure that you are all warm and safe over the next few days.

Congratulations Lincoln Ratta, who has been named one of seven finalists for Kid Governor! Lincoln's campaign platform was focused on advocating for equitable access to health care.

This year, 26 students from across Vermont were nominated by their 5th-grade peers. On Monday, Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas announced the names of the seven finalists and their platforms.

Congratulations to Patty Schoenhuber for receiving Lincoln School District's 2025 UVM Outstanding Teacher Award!

Every year, the College of Education and Social Services (CESS) at the University of Vermont, together with Vermont supervisory unions and school districts, the Vermont Agency of Education, and the Vermont NEA, join to honor the accomplishments of our state’s outstanding educators.

Patty will represent Lincoln School District and will be honored, alongside other district awardees, at UVM's Outstanding Teacher Award reception on October 27th in the Grand Ballroom of the Davis Center.
