The Little School House

Graduation is upon us, if you can believe it! Just a reminder of the class graduation dates and times. This isn't good-bye. It's just a see you later. 🥹

One of our most favorite days of the year – seeing our beloved seniors return to our preschool home. Seeing them blossom and hearing about their next adventure, celebrating this incredible achievement with them is a joy and a privilege. We are so proud of you graduates! We can't wait to watch you shine in this next chapter! Congratulations!

Families! I'd love to introduce you to Nicholas Christen! Nick is another of our amazing scholarship recipients this year! Nick was a fabulous flag football coach at Twelve Bridges this past winter and is now ready for an incredibly exciting new chapter, but he made time to answer a few questions for us. Here's what he had to say:

1️⃣ Where are you going to school in the fall, & what do you plan on studying/majoring in?

I will be attending a prep school in the fall for the United States Naval Academy. I plan on majoring in history and commissioning as a Naval Aviator.

2️⃣ How did you feel receiving one of the LSH/Tammy Schatz Memorial scholarships this year?

It is an honor and a privilege to receive Miss Tammy’s scholarship. It’s a true sign of the impact she’s had on so many people and a testament to her legacy.

3️⃣ What are your fondest memories connected to the school / teachers of LSH?

Some of my fondest memories of the LSH include playing in the sandpit, field trips, and parent/grandparent days.

4️⃣ Thinking back, what do you think sets the LSH apart from other early childhood education facilities?

The people truly set the Little School House apart in a huge way. Whether it is the kids, parent helpers, or the amazing staff. The teachers truly care about their students and developing them as students and people.

5️⃣ What would you like people to know about the Little School House (LSH)community?

It’s a great community with great people. Over the past 14 years I have continued to stay in touch and see other students and staff and it’s clear that there’s a true sense of community.

Happy Friday, Families! Meet Owen Errotabere! Owen is another of our amazing scholarship recipients this year! Owen is off to embark on an exciting new chapter, but he made time to answer a few questions for us. Here's what he had to say:

1️⃣ Where are you going to school in the fall, & what do you plan on studying/majoring in?

I am going to Yuba college to study Kinesiology.

2️⃣ How did you feel receiving one of the LSH/Tammy Schatz Memorial scholarships this year?

I feel honored receiving this scholarship as The Little School House trusts me with my future plans.

3️⃣ What are your fondest memories connected to the school / teachers of LSH?

I always remember saying hi to each of the teachers and that they would always help me out whenever I needed something. They were some of the greatest people I have met.

4️⃣ Thinking back, what do you think sets the LSH apart from other early childhood education facilities?

I think The Little School House really prepares you to advance into kindergarten, as you get a proper education, and The Little School House also focuses on making friends, as I am still friends with some of the people that went to The Little School House.

5️⃣ What would you like people to know about the Little School House (LSH)community?

Each of the teachers are great people and setting up kids great for the future
