Hi friends! I wanted to take advantage of the new year and re-introduce myself! I’m Paige, I’m a second year masters student at UNL, and I teach piano! I have students of all ages and experience levels, and I love putting my time and creativity into teaching my students, whether online or in person. Monday fun facts! For children, piano lessons can improve dexterity in hands, as well as motor function skills. Learning a musical instrument creates new neuropathways in one’s brain, which is why music therapy is a helpful tool in recovery for stroke victims, dementia patients, and children! It can quite literally change the way your brain works and processes things internally!

Monday fun facts about me: I actually started singing and doing voice lessons and choir before I started playing piano, but due to an injury to my vocal folds in high school, I can no longer sing the rep of a classical singer. A little bit about me to get to know me! I graduated from Baldwin Wallace University 1 year ago with my Bachelor of Music, and am halfway through my Master of Music degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! I'm currently enjoying summer break, and unfortunately am on forced rest due to a hand injury, but that's what alternative practice sessions are for!
