✨ Opening Night is HERE! ✨

Tonight our talented 4th and 5th grade students take the stage for Aladdin, and we couldn’t be more proud!

On Friday morning before school, families and students joined together to place American flags in the front grass to honor our Veterans 🇺🇸 and it was beautiful tribute organized by Ms. Drechsler. Thank you to our volunteers for helping, and most importantly, thank you to all who have served! ❤️🤍💙

Veterans Day reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who have protected our freedoms. Taking time to honor them helps our students understand the importance of gratitude and service.

The City of Lincoln’s “Best of the Best” Awards for 2025 were announced, and in the Elementary Teacher category, all three finalists-including the winner- are from Scott M. Leaman Elementary! 💙💚

We’re so proud of these amazing teachers and truly, of all our Leaman staff who pour their hearts into kids every single day. Their dedication, creativity, and care make Leaman such a special place to learn and grow.

This recognition is a reflection of the incredible teamwork and passion found in every classroom on our campus. Congratulations to Jackie, Stephanie, and Lana and to our entire Leaman staff for continuing to be awesome for kids every single day!

🎨 Chalk Art Festival Fun! 🖍️
This weekend in downtown Lincoln there was a Chalk Art Festival - and Leaman Elementary was proudly represented! 🌈

A huge shout-out to our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Van Perre, for helping secure a spot for our school (with support from our incredible PTO 🙌).

This was a student-focused event, and we’re so proud to see Leaman creativity shining out in our community. 💙💚

🎉🥳 Happy Birthday, Linc the Lemur! 🥳🎉

This morning, our school mascot, Linc, stopped by campus to celebrate his special day. He was greeted with lots of high fives, smiles, and birthday wishes from our students 💚💙.

Linc even brought treats to sharebecause no birthday is complete without a little something sweet! 🍪🎂

We love celebrating together as a school community. Tthank you, Linc, for making our morning extra fun! 💫

✨ The magic carpet ride has begun! Today many our 4th and 5th graders joined an audition workshop for our upcoming school musical, Aladdin. Big thanks to Mr. Bartlett, Mrs. Fosson, Mrs. Hill, and Mrs. Van Perre for leading the way — so much energy and excitement filled the room! 🌟🎭
