UNL Dance Alumni Endowment

We are thrilled to announce that the UNL Dance Alumni Endowment Fund has reached its initial funding goal! We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, shared our posts, and attended our events. This achievement would not have been possible without your continued support and involvement. We look forward to our ongoing efforts to celebrate and support the UNL Dance Program.

Prospective UNL students have one more time to audition for the dance program. This audition lets prospective students take classes with program instructors and meet current dance majors.

This year, for Glow Big Red, Professor Susan Ourada is a champion for the UNL FPA School of Music and Dance. See below her own words on why you should support the dance program with a donation…

“I love teaching in the UNL Dance Program! Our students are a brilliant, collaborative, creative, earnest, serious (and fun!) group of people who come to classes each day ready to grow and expand their horizons. Dance is at the base of their academic pursuits and certainly many will go on to have careers in dance. Many may also do as our graduates have done: become counselors, doctors, lawyers, pastors, pharmacists, physical therapists, teachers to name a few. Coming to work every day, seeing what will unfold as these emerging artists spread their wings, is a joyful and enlivening pursuit.  Please consider making  a Glow Big Red donation to the Dance Program!”
