Join the Orchesis Dance Club on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 7:30 PM for their annual spring showcase at Kimball Recital Hall!

UNLeashed features students from across campus, many of whom are involved in the Dance Program. The event is FREE and open to the public!

UNL dance students participated in the ACDA 2026 dance conference in Minneapolis, MN, showcasing three pieces by Meg Brady, Talia Markussen, and Sierra (SJ) Eschliman!

Prospective UNL students have one more time to audition for the dance program. This audition lets prospective students take classes with program instructors and meet current dance majors.

This year, for Glow Big Red, Professor Susan Ourada is a champion for the UNL FPA School of Music and Dance. See below her own words on why you should support the dance program with a donation…

“I love teaching in the UNL Dance Program! Our students are a brilliant, collaborative, creative, earnest, serious (and fun!) group of people who come to classes each day ready to grow and expand their horizons. Dance is at the base of their academic pursuits and certainly many will go on to have careers in dance. Many may also do as our graduates have done: become counselors, doctors, lawyers, pastors, pharmacists, physical therapists, teachers to name a few. Coming to work every day, seeing what will unfold as these emerging artists spread their wings, is a joyful and enlivening pursuit. Please consider making a Glow Big Red donation to the Dance Program!”
