For celebrating the child finally brave enough to try.

For being a steady presence

For teaching numbers and letters and problem-solving.
And also kindness.
And confidence.
And resilience.

For the way you pour from your own cup
even when it’s running low.

For the jokes that break the tension.
The pep talks in hallways.
The Band-Aids.
The encouragement.
The extra snacks in your desk drawer.

For loving kids who aren’t yours
like they matter as if they were.

For showing up again
after a day that emptied you.

Thank you for the unseen things.
The emotional weight.

The million little ways you make children feel safe, capable, and known.

Roadrunner Rally is tonight! 5:30-7:30!

Bidding starts at 5:30pm

We have over 70 items for you to bid on.

Toys, Legos, Signed Husker items, car detailing, Golf package, Night in the Haymarket- Includes hotel stay at the Graduate and tickets to Glenn Miller orchestra and so much more.

All auction items will be CARD ONLY!!

Kona Ice and Granny Gwen’s food truck will also be there. (Menu in comments)

We will have some yard games set out!

Just a reminder: This is a family event! Parents must supervise children. The big playground is not LPS property and supervision is required.

Norwood Staff and PTO are not responsible for supervising kids on the playground or at the event. We appreciate your help in this!

🚨Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching, and we could really use your help!🚨

We are still in need of:
💙Donations for the Dip Bar (fruit dips, cracker dips, or any favorite you’d like to share)
💛 Breakfast items for our Breakfast Day
💙 Prizes for teacher games (gift cards or small gift baskets)

Additionally, the Roadrunner Rally (silent auction) will be held on Friday, May 8. If you have donated a basket, please return it to the office or to Mandi by May 1. ‼️

If you’ve already contributed to your class basket, thank you—we truly appreciate your support!

We understand this is a busy and often demanding time of year. The auction is our PTO’s main fundraiser, and your support makes a meaningful difference. 💕

Your child’s teacher should have reached out with info about their grade level baskets for the auction.
Below are each grades theme! If you are able to donate to the basket we would appreciate it. Grade level with the highest bid at the auction gets a popsicle party!
