Welcome to our page and thank you so much for considering participating with us in this study. Personally, I am a non-traditional student who came to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to engage in a PhD program after working with children and families in the Lincoln community as a social worker. I study early childhood development, and particularly, attachment organization among mothers and infan

ts. I am also interested in research methodology and ethical considerations of doing research with young children. Before beginning my PhD at UNL, I investigated other programs- psychology, public health, sociology- but found the best fit in the department of Child, Youth, and Family Studies. This anchor offers me the flexibility to follow my interests and the personal attention from advisors to keep my program on track and research interests alive; especially during this complicated pandemic we have all been navigating. I am again, a non-traditional student with a mortgage and children, so I get how busy life can be. I feel fortunate to lead this study and can not wait to to dive in with you all!
