If you're interested in learning more about hunting, the LPHS Outdoors Club is proud to sponsor a Michigan Hunting Discussion Panel tomorrow, Wednesday, November 9th at 2:50 in room 120. Come by after school to learn from and ask questions to our panel!

Another great event!

Meet amazing local partners dedicated to increasing access to the outdoors and improving native habitat! Purchase some native plants, visit with a horse from Michigan Equestrian Trails, meet our confirmed partners: Detroit Hives, Plants for Ecology: Native Plants to Heal Our Planet., Detroit Butterfly Nursery, Wild Birds Unlimited, Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy, Detroit Horse Power, Detroit Wildflower Nursery, LLC, Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control, Orleans Landing, We Fixin To Fish, The Xerces Society and more to come!

The results are in! We helped pull over 80 pounds of trash out of Ecorse Creek and Council Point Park last weekend. When combined with the large group of volunteers who worked at surrounding parks, over 650 pounds of trash were removed from the Ecorse Creek system.

Hawkfest is back in full force at Lake Erie Metropark in 2022! It is happening Saturday, September 17th, and Sunday, September 18th. Join Detroit Audubon and many other organizations as we bask in the beauty of Fall hawk migration.

Productive morning cleaning Ecorse Creek at Council Point Park. Students worked with Park Rangers, netting litter from canoes and also picked up the shoreline and grounds. We are grateful to be a small part of the larger team that cleaned 3 local parks!
