We would like to give a big shout out to SWAGS(Swag's Sport Shoes)! They provide so much support and knowledge for all of our campers and counselors as well as really cool running gear to give away to our campers. They truly LOVE the sport of running. Goodmorning, families. Yesterday was our last full day of camp for PRC26. Which means today is the last day so we are looking forward, and I’m sure your kid is too, to see you here soon!

Yesterday we had our progression workout run, followed by our PRC26 group photo. Before lunch, we hosted our infamous Camper - Counselor Ultimate Frisbee World Championship. Later in the day, the campers went through our circuit that included a counselor panel, a talk with University of Southern Indiana’s Coach, Mike Hillyard, a core workout, and a goal setting station. After dinner, we had our points giveaway where Swags donated various items for our campers to enjoy based off the points they accumulated throughout the week. To end the last night here at camp, we had a t-shirt exchange as well as a campfire for s’mores!

Good afternoon, families! Yesterday was another great day here at camp. We got to sleep in just a tad bit to prepare for our Bingo Run! After that, we finished up our water competitions and we started our non-team tournaments with Kan Jam, Co****le, and UNO. Before our run for the day, we had our push up competition as well.

After dinner, Indiana running legend Andy Bayer came and talked to our campers about having the persistence to keep going after your goals, even if you come up short a few times. To end the night, we hosted our Talentless Show and then had s’mores at the campfire until lights out.

Yesterday was packed! We started off our day with an hour walk to Heritage Hills High School to remember what AC felt like. While we were there, we rotated through various stations such as Dodgeball, band work with Adam Gilbert, a talk about shoes with Allie from Swags, and aquajogging in the pool.

After we ate lunch, we walked back to camp, played kumcha, and started to play our water game competitions. A storm came through and rained on our parade, so we’re resuming those competitions today! But once the storm cleared up, we went on our long run and then Adria Betz told our campers a thing or two on how to better fuel our running bodies. To cap off the night, some campers went on the fire tower hike!

Yesterday, Eddie Slowikowski came and gave an amazing presentation to our campers. From talking about his runner-up finish in the Illinois State Cross Country Championship, to getting everyone up and dancing around to the Chicken Dance, all the way to guessing different Disney songs for points, the kids were involved for all 2 hours!

Another great day in the books, and we’re already starting our next one! Yesterday, to start off, everyone conquered Hank’s Hill. Then, we had our team competitions featuring Ultimate Frisbee, Tug-O-War, Family Feud, and everyone’s new favorite game, Noodle Wars. We ended the day off with an amazing interactive conversation with Eddie Slowikowski (more on that later).
