We are revamping our music boosters organization and are in need of a whole new slate of officers! If you have students in the ARTS in Lima City Schools at any grade level, you are encouraged to join this organization to support all of our arts programs, k-12. Miss Morton enjoyed taking in some seventh and eighth grade volleyball this morning at West! We really enjoy getting to see our students in action…and if you look closely you’ll see Mr. Haberman moonlighting as a volleyball ref. Love to see it!

We are absolutely thrilled to share this announcement with all of you! Project Level Up, a grant designed to create transformational experiences to help optimize student achievement and outcomes through arts inspired learning opportunities will bring three guest artists to Liberty throughout the school year.

These incredible artists will work diligently with our students and staff on connecting arts and non-arts content in meaningful ways across all curricular areas to create powerful pathways to learning.

This grant will include specialized projects, performances and community engagement as we continue to level up as an arts-inspired learning community. This is made possible in part by an investment of public funds from the Ohio Arts Council. The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. We are so proud to be part of this work!

We're excited to announce that Liberty Arts Magnet has been awarded $10,500 as part of the TeachArts Ohio Grant program. These funds will allow for guest artists in residence at Liberty this school year.

The TeachArtsOhio (TAO) program brings schools together with teaching artists to share engaging, personal, high-quality arts learning experiences and is made possible in part by an investment of public funds from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC).
