A $50,000 investment from Honda is making an impact at UNOH!

Honda representatives visited campus to see firsthand how their support is enhancing hands-on learning in our Robotics & Automation Technology program. Students showed them the new Mitsubishi PLC simulators funded by the grant.

The partnership doesn’t stop in the classroom. Through co-ops, plant tours, industry engagement and career pathways, Honda continues to help connect UNOH students with opportunities.

⚡ UNOH is helping drive the future of automotive education!

As hybrid and electric vehicle technology continues to transform the automotive industry, UNOH is helping ensure educators—and ultimately their students—are ready for what’s next.

UNOH instructors Randy Pack and Steven Klausing recently led a specialized Hybrid/Electric Vehicle training session focused on high-voltage safety, EV fundamentals, and hands-on application. The training is part of a larger initiative with the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) to strengthen EV education and prepare the next generation of highly skilled technicians.

Alumni Spotlight: Joe Barszcz ’02 is chasing a dream more than two decades in the making.

Joe arrived at UNOH with a lifelong passion for racing and turned that passion into a career —from building chassis and working alongside some of the biggest names in the sport to launching successful businesses of his own.

Now, the High Performance Technology graduate is taking on his biggest challenge yet: building his own Top Fuel drag racing team, JBR Nitro. 🔥

Joe’s journey is a great example of where a UNOH education, strong industry relationships, and a willingness to take chances can lead.
