The 2025–2026 Bath Youth Wrestling season officially came to a close tonight at our banquet, and what a great season it was.
This group of wrestlers put in a tremendous amount of hard work all year long. From the first practice to the final tournament, we watched these kids grow—not just as wrestlers, but in confidence, toughness, and determination. Wrestling is not an easy sport, and every one of these athletes should be proud of the effort they gave this season.
One of the best parts of youth wrestling is getting to watch the progress throughout the year. Moves that were difficult in November became second nature by February. Kids who were nervous to step on the mat early in the season finished the year competing with confidence. Seeing that growth is what makes coaching and supporting this program so rewarding.
We also want to thank our incredible parents and coaches. Youth sports only work when families and volunteers come together to support the kids, and we are very fortunate to have such a great group behind this program.
Most importantly, we want our wrestlers to know how proud we are of them. We truly enjoyed watching each of you compete, improve, and represent Bath this season.
We also want to give our 6th graders a special shoutout, Jaxson Haessler, Camden Poteet, Ryan Mayer, and Killian Watkins. We look forward to seeing you compete in Middle and High School Wrestling in the future!
Thank you for a great year, Wildcats. We’re already looking forward to next season. 💙💛🐾
