St. Charles Catholic School can be found in Lima, Ohio. They have been serving our community for just over 70 years. St. Charles houses roughly 420 students from preschool through 8th grade. Our fun fact of the day is that St. Charles students consistently score above both diocesan and national averages on NWEA MAP assessments.

Don’t forget about FREE resources you can use while out of school.. stop by your public library, Libby and Hoopla app (attach your public library card) and use YouTube.. search the book you want then add ‘read aloud’. I’d love to see pictures of all the adventures you’re taking with your books this summer (they like to travel, too!).❤️ 📚

🌟 Positive Addiction is one of my favorite traditions here at St. Charles! And the best way to kick off our week is with READING!! Thank you to Lima Public Library’s Jennifer and Nicole for introducing their summer reading program to our Preschool- 5th graders. The votes are in! Our whole school has been reading picture books and voting for the last few weeks during Book March Madness. The overwhelming winner of our Where the Wild Hoops Are bracket was… Don’t Trust Fish! Ask your student if it was their overall favorite ❤️ 📚

To say the Ignatius book fair was a success is an understatement. THANK YOU to all of those who supported, volunteered, and purchased through this Catholic based company. Furthermore, to our anonymous donor with the HUGE ❤️, this is only a sample of the 55 beautiful new Catholic books we will be adding the library. We are truly blessed!

A BIG shoutout to Jordan Priddy for accepting our invitation to be interviewed for the SCCS News! The NWC Player of the Year spent some extra time hanging out with our Redwings during lunch. Fun fact: Jordan is ranked #2 in all time scoring points for Lima Central Catholic High School… after only THREE years on the team 🏀 🤯 We’re all excited to cheer you on for years to come!

📣TOMORROW! 📣 The Ignatius Book Fair begins! Families are welcome to come and shop, too! We WILL be open during Donuts with Dudes on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7am and all normal school hours.
