It’s happening tonight!
On April 21, the beautiful Lyrid meteor shower will reach its peak, putting on one of the most exciting sky shows of the year. This time, the viewing conditions are even better because there will be no moonlight to brighten the sky, making it much easier to see the meteors clearly.As Earth passes through the trail of debris left behind by a comet, tiny particles enter our atmosphere and burn up, creating bright streaks of light known as shooting stars.
Under clear and dark skies, you may be able to see many meteors per hour, some of them leaving glowing trails behind. The best time to watch is usually after midnight when the sky is at its darkest and the meteor activity increases. Try to find a spot away from city lights, look up, and give your eyes a few minutes to adjust.
It’s a simple yet magical experience so don’t miss the chance to witness this stunning cosmic display!

Just wanted to give you all an Update on Jim and Fran Mauk. Fran has been home (right now home of their daughter, Amy, and soon to be the addition for them that they are having added to Amy's house... Whew!) for two weeks and Jim came home on Friday the First of December. Fran is doing so good and Jim is too. We still can't believe how good given what they went through. They both still have a long road to go, but they have so much support and love from not only Scott, Amy and other family members, but also from some good friends. Don't hesitate to keep sending prayers their way too!
