On January 15 & 16, 4 of our fantastic students represented CC at the District Jazz Festival. In the Vocal Evolutions a ca****la ensemble we had Jillian Garrity, Isaac Oravec, and Keagan Amenti. In the Modern Band rock group we had Jude Kokus on saxophone. It was a stellar experience that provided really unique opportunities for our musicians. You can also tell they enjoyed each other’s company 🤪 Bravo to these CenCam students!

🎄🎶 Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Music! 🎶🎄

On Wednesday, December 17, students from our music department took to the road to share some festive sounds at several locations, spreading joy, smiles, and holiday spirit along the way!

A huge thank you to Dr. Nicole Falchini Oravec, DMD, for generously sponsoring the bus and helping make this special day possible. Your support allowed our students to bring the magic of music into the community this holiday season!

So proud of our musicians and grateful for community partners who help make moments like this happen! ❤️🎶

Last night 42 of our choral students grades 6-12 represented CC at the Cambria County Chorus Festival at Westmont Hilltop High School. It was a fantastic 2 days of singing and enjoying each other’s company!

Additionally, our very own music faculty member, Mr. Duman, was asked to conduct the Junior High Somerset County Chorus Festival hosted at Berlin-Brothersvalley School District. He brought great energy to the festival and showed some of the fine music teaching that happens at Central Cambria.

Today and every day we’re grateful to be in a district that values the arts. Happy Thanksgiving, CC family! 🧡🤎
