I’ve had a few roller stands in the shop over the years, but they have all been light duty and I usually end up adding weight to them so they don’t get knocked over. This heavy duty stand is much heavier and uses a tripod so it’s super solid. I love the ability to fine tune the height too..really simple and secure.

First brass coin in the books! 🔥🪙

I’ve been wanting to try engraving brass, so I put the F2 Ultra 60W MOPA laser to the test by turning my son’s baseball team logo into a custom challenge coin. Pretty cool being able to take something meaningful to the family and turn it into a physical keepsake!

The detail and quality this machine produces are seriously impressive, and the speed makes the whole process even better. Getting crisp, clean detail on brass like this is a whole new level of fun in the shop.

And shoutout to the P2 exhaust system! It does a fantastic job pulling smoke and fumes away from the work area, keeping the workspace cleaner while I’m engraving.

This is just the beginning. I’ve got a feeling there are going to be a LOT more laser projects coming out of the shop! 👊

Testing out some settings and styles for an upcoming little engraving project. Using some old barn wood I had out on the stack. I love the way this looks…and seems to burn great too! I’ll be using a few pieces as part of an accent wall I’m adding to my shop office…and they’ll each carry a little message 📖
