Please consider donating items to the Clinic. We specifically need medium girls leggings, small boys shorts/pants, and small/medium/large boys underwear (must be new in package).

Please do not send shoes as we do not have storage space in the Clinic.

Please make sure to sign off on these forms today! This will allow you to skip the long lines tomorrow during Open House (July 30th)!!

Forms must be completed before meeting your child's teacher.

🏆 Game ON! The HES Dream Team is back on the field! 🏆

Our Head Elementary Staff kicked off Day 1 with incredible energy, focus, and team spirit! Under this year’s theme, “One Team, One Dream,” we’re lacing up our sneakers and getting ready to coach, support, and cheer on our amazing students every single step of the way. 👟✨

From playbook planning to classroom prep, we proved that when we work together, big things happen. We are so excited for everything this school year has in store!

And a big thank you to our RD Head Elementary PTA for the delicious lunch yesterday! We appreciate it so much!

Reminder... GCPS invites parents and guardians, community members, and school district employees to apply for the GEMS Oversight Committee, a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards.

The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 27, 2026.

The application deadline is August 7.
