Fellow Patsombung, our home Kingdom/Village Tso' is making progress. This progress, however is not going on as fast as we want or fast enough to catch up with our neighbors and with the times. All we need to catch up and take the lead is YOU. Let us step up our contributions to our homeland. Together we are stronger and better.

PATSOMBUNG
BRINGING OUR DIASPORA FAMILY HOME
The Patsombung America Inc. is a Socio-Cultural Association created on November 18, 2015 and registered in the state of Georgia USA by the people of Tso in the Americas.
Since inception, one of its important goals has been to bring the Diaspora family home. “_Home is where our story begins…_”, “_Home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams_” (anonymous) . Patsombung welcomes home its children of Africa that were forcefully taken away from home for over four centuries and have been physically disconnected from their source. Through Patsombung they can once more enjoy their birth rights, be loved by their family and like every family member participate in the development and advancement of their home community.
The kingdom of Tso is a Bamileke/Tikar kingdom located in the Bamboutos division of the Western region of Cameroon in Central Africa. It is an ideal home for the Diaspora family by virtue of its history.
Meanwhile anthropological research traces the origin of the Bamileke/Tikar back as far as the 10th Century e to Ancient Egypt, the Patso are a special composition of several Bamileke/Tikar tribes and that came together at the foundation of the Tso kingdom. Every Tikar/Bamileke descendant can thus legitimately claim Tso and rightly so. The Tso villages and Kingdom was only founded as recently as the 1730s and the expansion ended by 1950.
Culturally, Tso is known for its unmatched hospitality and its reputation as the ideal land that offered a second chance to all humans that were unfairly treated or were looking for a new breath of fresh air to expand on their potentials and thus grow, hence, the name Tso which translated in English means a combination of the words “Mercy” “Paradise” “Wish” “Desire” “Sympathy” “Empathy”. The name of the founder himself was LONGWO which means “What if it were you?” otherwise translates as putting yourself in the shoes of the victim, altruism. King Longwo embarked on creating a space for the persecuted, for those who have been living under a glass ceiling and need a chance to grow, for the outcast, for the misunderstood, for the freedom seeker regardless of which tribe you came from. Any slave who set foot in Tso became a free person with a chance to marry even in the royal family or rise to the merit of notability.
The Patso, like other Bamileke/Tikar sister tribes are hard working high achievers and do not take no for an answer, Their outstanding performances in any field of choice in life makes them easily noticeable and visible.
The Patso’h like the entire Ngiemboon ethnic group hold the word “Sseletto” (Welcome) at the top of their vocabulary ladder. This word is closely followed by “mbing sse le nenghe” (and settles well). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO72cqe9mrE
May our ancestors be happy with us for keeping their word.
