Our Read-Able students used their literacy intervention goals and strategies to create lovely gifts for seniors in the community. The children also put so much caring and creativity into the project. Each senior received a handmade card created by the students. They also got cozy socks. Thank you to our students, parents, Davida Baker and Atria Rehab. We believe in the power of the pen!

Hi all! Read-Able is excited to host Books & Beats this year. It is our first music therapy based language and literacy enrichment group. The group targets typical students and those with disabilities in grades K-8 who would benefit from enrichment in reading comprehension, listening comprehension, phonemic awareness, phonics and other skills. The group will host a maximum of 10 children, and currently has space to accept 7 more attendees. Students who register by 4/15 receive a $25 discount, and the deadline to register is 4/24. Sessions will take place at the Read-Able office on Saturday mornings beginning in May. Parents can register using the google form link provided below.
