Panther Nation... We're Ready!
Our Open House on Friday, July 31, was an incredible success! The energy throughout Parkview was contagious as our faculty and staff welcomed students and families for the start of a brand-new school year. Smiles, conversations, and excitement filled the halls as we prepared to take learning to the Next Level.
While Open House marked an exciting beginning for our students, it also marked the close of an extraordinary chapter for one of Parkview's most beloved team members.
Friday was the final day for Ms. Vera, who officially retired after 30 years and 9 months of faithfully serving the students, families, and staff of Trickum Middle School and Parkview High School. For more than three decades, she has been a welcoming face, a helping hand, and a constant source of kindness for generations of Panthers.
Next Level isn't just about where we're going—it's also about honoring those who helped build the foundation that allows us to move forward. Ms. Vera's dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment have shaped the culture that makes Parkview such a special place.
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we celebrate both a new chapter for our students and an incredible legacy of service. Thank you, Ms. Vera, for leaving Parkview better than you found it. Your impact will continue to be felt in these halls for years to come.

Panther Nation- Last week, we kicked off the new school year inspired by Dr. Grelauris Calcano, who reminded us that every student deserves someone who believes in them.
As she shared her personal journey as a multilingual learner, she reflected on the teachers who saw her potential, encouraged her through challenges, and helped shape the leader she is today. Her story was a powerful reminder that the impact of an educator extends far beyond the classroom.
At Parkview, we are committed to supporting our multilingual students by creating learning environments where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed. Our words, our expectations, and our belief in our students have the power to change lives.
