We are excited to welcome a new sixth-grade teacher to the Hill!

Myra Ehrenberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Truett McConnell University. Born and raised in the Atlanta area all her life, she grew up playing soccer and ultimate frisbee at Lilburn Park and attending Killian Hill’s soccer camp. In her free time, Ms. Ehrenberg loves outdoor activities, drawing, crafting, reading, and playing disc golf. Her desire as she teaches at KHCS is to love others as Christ loves and to inspire every student to reach their full potential (1 Peter 4:10-11).

Welcome to the Hill!

We are thrilled to add Jason Mauk to the secondary faculty at KHCS!

Mr. Mauk grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania, where he met his wife, Jamie, during their high school years. He attended Liberty University, graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He went on to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and then spent twelve years serving as a licensed funeral director/embalmer in central Pennsylvania. In 2012, Jason began
training at Liberty Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, his Master of Religious Education, and his Doctor of Ministry degrees. For the past fourteen years, Jason has been privileged to serve in several teaching and pastoral roles and enjoys teaching middle school, high school, and college-age students. He and his wife, Jamie, have been blessed with four sons–two in middle school and two who are secondary school teachers in Denver, Colorado. Jason enjoys reading and writing, hiking, and coaching soccer and basketball (as well as attending an occasional Pittsburgh Steelers game).

Two weeks from today, our faculty will return to the Hill to launch a brand-new school year, and we are excited!

This year's school-wide theme is Be Dynamic, and we look forward to how God will use this theme in the lives of our faculty and our students.

Get a head start and "be dynamic" in all you do today!

Junior Vedaant Rana's research paper, “Regenerative Medicine: A Game Changer in Alzheimer’s Disease,” was officially published in the Journal of Research High School (JRHS).

JRHS is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research conducted by high school students. It provides students the opportunity to contribute to scholarly literature while developing research and scientific writing skills.

This publication represents many months of research, writing, and revision, and we are incredibly proud of Vedaant's achievement.
