🎉 Hopkins’ First Day of School Was a Big Success! 🎉

We are excited to celebrate an outstanding start to the school year! It was a joy to welcome both our new and returning students back to Hopkins with kindness, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community. From the moment students arrived, our campus was filled with smiles, positive energy, and excitement for the year ahead.

Our students began building connections with classmates and teachers, exploring new opportunities, and setting the stage for a successful year of learning and growth. We are proud of the warm and welcoming environment that made the first day so special.

A special thank you to Dr. Calcano from our District Office and the representatives from the GCPS Transportation Team for their on-campus support. Your partnership helped ensure a smooth, safe, and successful start for our students and families. We appreciate all you do for our school community!

🎉 Hopkins Elementary Open House 2026-2027 was a success! 🎉

We loved welcoming our new and returning students and families! Parents and students met their teachers, learned classroom information, and received transportation details for bus riders, car riders, and walkers. Families also had the opportunity to register new students during the event.

Our halls were filled with smiles, excitement, and a strong sense of community. Thank you to everyone who joined us! We look forward to a school year full of teaching, learning, kindness, and joy. 💙💛📚✨

Today marks the first day of our Hopkins Pre-Planning sessions as we prepare for an outstanding school year! Our dedicated staff is collaborating, learning, and planning to ensure every student is positioned to perform their BEST academically and socially-emotionally.

A special thank you to our amazing business partner, Subaru of Gwinnett, for treating our staff to a delicious breakfast this morning. Your generosity helped us start the day energized and ready to support our students and families.

We are also incredibly grateful for Subaru of Gwinnett’s $500 Subaru Loves Learning donation benefiting 25 of our classroom teachers. This generous gift will help provide valuable resources that enhance teaching and learning experiences for our students.

Our amazing 5th grade students walked through the halls of Hopkins one last time before beginning their new journey to middle school. 🏫✨ There were smiles, cheers, memories, and even a few tears as we celebrated how much they have grown throughout their elementary years. 🌟📚
