Congratulations to the 25 semifinalists for the 2025 Gwinnett County Teacher of the Year (TOTY)! These incredible educators are the heart of our Blueprint at ! They ensure student feels welcomed, seen, respected, and honored as they learn.

Calling All Creative Mustangs! Enter the 2023 PTA Reflections Contest!

Is your child an artist, writer, composer, dancer, photographer, or film maker? They should enter this year's National PTA Reflections Contest! This annual competition provides an opportunity for students to express their creativity through original works of art, and receive recognition in Visual Arts, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, Photography and Film Production.

This year's theme is "I Am Hopeful Because..." Entries and entry forms are due Saturday, September 30th and can be dropped off in the Media Center or with Ms Allen.

Thank you Talpa Supermercados Lilburn for once again supporting Lilburn Middle School PTSA. Today they generously donated 200 conchitas (sweet bread) and 200 water bottles to the Hispanic Heritage Month kick-off breakfast that was attended by 200 teachers and staff.

FALL BOOK FAIR AT MEDIA CENTER UNTIL FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd

❗️On September 15, 2023, notification will be initiated to all local units from Givebacks (MemberHub). Per Givebacks (MemberHub) the following changes will go into effect for access:

✔️️On 9/15/23, Givebacks (MemberHub) will begin notifying all units under Georgia PTA that their current active site will remain live and they will no longer see membership cards, dues remittance, or compliance submission capabilities after 9/30/23.

✔️On 9/22/23, local units will no longer be able to remit state dues to Georgia PTA through their local unit Givebacks (formerly MemberHub) sites. This will ensure timely payment of all dues payments that may be in process to Georgia PTA before the end of the contract on 9/30/23.

✔️On 9/30/23, the partnership between Georgia PTA and Givebacks (formerly MemberHub) will come to an end. At this time, all local unit sites will be removed from Georgia PTA and the site owned and managed by Georgia PTA will be closed and all site administrators will be removed.

✔️All inactive sites under Georgia PTA will be deleted if not already archived.
In order to ensure you have all of your necessary information before the site is closed, please be sure to take the following actions before 9/30/23.
Export all of your payout reports history under Store Management>Edit Store Settings>View Payouts.

✔️Download all compliance documents that were uploaded under Compliance Manager>View Compliance Documents

❗️You may also want a record of all dues payments that have been sent, received, etc. through the platform. This would be located under Compliance Manager>View Compliance Reports>State Dues Payments. You can export all previous years as well as the current year.

Bring the little ones and join the Gwinnett Library for Storytime at Lilburn City Park on Thursday, September 14th, at 10:30 a.m. After Storytime, check out a book from the Mobile Library, parked in the parking lot closest to the playground.

Friday, September 15, is a Digital Learning Day (DLD) for all students. On scheduled DLDs, students access lessons in eCLASS but do not have virtual class time with their teachers.
To ensure that students have a nutritious breakfast and lunch to fuel their learning, our bus drivers will be on the road and at every bus stop to deliver meals prepared by the School Nutrition Program staff. Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families and are provided to anyone 18 years old and under
