💰 Merchant Coin Challenge 💰

This year’s campaign raised an amazing $2,944.38, surpassing last year’s 2025 total of $1,900.44. Over the past nine years, the Merchant Coin Challenge has now raised an incredible $19,711.63 to support the Food2Go Program.

The Food2Go Program helps provide weekend backpacks filled with food and snacks for students who may otherwise go without meals over the weekend. Every dollar raised directly helps local children and families in our community.

A special part of this year’s campaign was the success of the paper backpack sponsorships. Community members and businesses purchased over 100 paper backpacks, helping raise awareness while providing additional support for the program.

The Merchant Coin Challenge is about more than collecting spare change — it is about neighbors helping neighbors and businesses coming together to care for local children.
Thank you to every merchant, customer, donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make the 9th Annual Merchant Coin Challenge such a meaningful success. Together, we are making a difference one backpack at a time.

The Merchant Coin Challenge is back, and our community is ready to make a difference!

Every coin collected helps support Food2Go, providing weekend meals and snacks for students in our area who may not have enough food when school is not in session.

You can help in two easy ways:

🪙 Drop your spare change into collection containers at participating businesses.

🎒 Purchase a paper backpack at participating locations:
• $10 fills a backpack with food for one weekend
• $20 helps provide food for almost THREE weekends

Small donations add up in a BIG way for local kids and families. Together, we can help make sure students have the meals and snacks they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you for supporting the Merchant Coin Challenge and helping us care for our community—one coin and one backpack at a time!
