This week, PKC9 students engaged in a rich, multi-sensory learning experience celebrating the autumn season. Through hands-on apple dissections, they explored plant anatomy while building scientific vocabulary. Students then practiced practical math and fine motor skills by measuring ingredients and preparing apple pies. Finally, nature-based art projects—including acorn paintings and seasonal wreaths—encouraged creativity and an appreciation for the natural world

They also engaged in local wildlife study by setting up a cozy habitat and collecting acorns for a neighborhood chipmunk—with plans to check for updates next week
