Ligonier Valley Learning Center is hosting an Open House for our New Creative Art Studio on Saturday October 26th from 11am-1pm at 117 Juniper Lane. This event is open to everyone in the community.
Also, our Free Spook-a-Palozza will be taking place at the same time. All children are welcome to attend but the activities are preschool age appropriate. Pick a pumpkin, treat bags, corn maze, corn pit, and much more.
Concession stand will be open for hot dogs, nachos, cupcakes, chips , and more. Basket raffle in the Art Studio. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Ligonier Valley Learning Center has a few openings left for our Pre-K Summer Camps.

Nursery Rhyme Theater will be a fun, engaging camp in which kids will learn various Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales and perform them at the end of the week

Yoga for Preschoolers will be a hands on camps teaching children yoga poses and calming breathing techniques taught by a local yoga instructor.

All campers will receive a take home lunch daily. For more information on enrolling your child, please call 724-537-2565 or stop by our Ligonier or Latrobe Kinder-Schull locations.

Exciting Happenings at Ligonier Valley Learning Center, as reported by Rebecca Faulk, Agency Founder/CEO. The Non-Profit Human Service Agency is celebrating 40 years of providing community service to children and families in the Ligonier and Latrobe areas. In addition, A New Creative Arts Studio is currently being constructed at the Ligonier Campus of the Learning Center!
The Creative Arts Studio, uniquely designed to provide a bright and spacious space for young learners, will be ready just in time for the 2024-2025 school year. Trained instructors will be teaching the children yoga, creative movement, dance and art in the welcoming contemporary Studio Building located next to the Licensed Preschool Facility. The outside deck, with a scenic background, will allow for instruction both indoor and outdoor. Activities at the Creative Arts Studio will be overseen by Agency Executive Director, Eva Wood and Education Directors, Erin Schellenberger and Abby Gundersen.
The New Creative Arts Studio adds to the learning opportunities at the Ligonier Campus along with the existing Expansive Outdoor Nature Preschool equipped with a variety of adventuresome learning stations for the children.
This one-of-a-kind Preschool Program located in Oak Grove Ligonier is free for eligible families. For 2024-2025 school year enrollment and more information, parents should call the Agency Administration Office at 724-537-2565. As a Non-Profit Agency, tax-deductible donations for the New Creative Arts Studio can be sent to Ligonier Valley Learning Center, 117 Juniper Lane, Ligonier 15658. Donations, of any amount, will help with the construction costs as well as supplies, equipment and furniture for the Creative Arts Studio.
